Shark Navigator Lift Away

The Shark Navigator Lift Away Professional

Shark vacuums are all the rage right now.  They are an inexpensive alternative to the more designer vacuums like Dysons or even Kirby's.  SharkNinja has recently come out with a vacuum called Shark Navigator Professional Lift Away.  It takes the already successful Shark vacuum and kicks it up a notch making it even better and more efficient.

One of Shark Navigator Lift Away Professional's great features is its weight.  It is a little heavier than the original Shark Lift-Away at 13.7 pounds.  This still is a very light vacuum considering many other vacuums are well over 20 pounds.

Like the original Shark Navigator Lift Away the professional comes with an anti-allergen seal that is equipped with HEPA.  This is a very important feature that essentially allows the vacuum to pick up dust and dirt and seal it.  This is a great selling point for those who have allergies or are sensitive to dust.

Shark Navigator Lift Away Professional also boasts a Brushroll Shutoff button.  This allows the vacuum to easily switch from cleaning carpet to cleaning hard surfaces.  This is a great feature that allows the vacuum to do its best cleaning despite the floor.  This is especially appealing to those who have hard floors and carpet.

Shark Navigator Lift-Away Professional is very easy to control.  It features swivel steering that allows you to be able to maneuver the vacuum around anything.  This is great for getting between furniture or avoiding the clutter that we all have.

Shark Navigator Lift Away Professional comes with some great attachments unique to the Professional model.  The Hard Floor Hero makes sure your hard surface floors are vacuumed very well.  The dusting brush allows you to pick up dust in those hard to reach places.  The crevice tool gets into those spaces that are traditionally very tough to vacuum.

One of Shark Navigator Lift-Away Professional's best features is its lift-away.  This allows you to essentially lift the top of the vacuum of to make it a hand-held vacuum.  This is especially nice for vacuuming stairs and even vacuuming your car.

Some things the professional have as opposed to the regular model are a bigger canister.  Some of the most negative reviews for the base model was the canister was not big enough.  Luckily, the professional fixed this problem and doubled the size of the canister.  This makes it so you do not have to constantly dump the canister.  Another change is the length of the cord.  Reviewers all felt the base model's cord was much too short.  This adds an additional 5 feet to the cord allowing you to vacuum a bigger area without having to switch outlets.

The professional is prices a little higher than the base model at $249.  This price jump accounts for the better accessories, larger canister, and longer cord.  Depending on your needs, it may be worth the extra money to get the professional.

The reviews for Shark Navigator Lift Away Professional were very positive.  Many felt that the suction was even more powerful than their previous, more expensive vacuums.  Many were very pleased with the attachments and felt that these definitely made their machine clean better and more versatile.  Many reviewers were shocked how quickly their canisters filled up.  Some even wondered how they had lived in such filth before purchasing this vacuum.

A common complaint was that the vacuum seemed to tip over easily.  Others seemed to think the plastic the vacuum was made of felt cheap.  One other common complaint was that if you have plush carpet the vacuum was very hard to push.  Its suction was almost too great for a higher pile carpet.

Overall a Shark Navigator Lift Away Professional seems like a great purchase especially given its low price point.  It also seems worth it to spend the extra money to get the features only the professional model offers.
